Vegan brushes by AfterGlow Minerals

In my opinion, mineral powders are a great type of makeup. They give you a natural, flawless complexion.
But to be truly effective they must be applied with good brushes. Unfortunately, not all the ones you buy, often for a high price, deliver the results they promise. And not everybody is thrilled by the idea of brushing her face with animal hairs.

As a matter of fact, really good brushes are the ones from AfterGlow. Their luxe vegan professional cosmetic brushes are ideal for applying loose minerals evenly to quickly create a flawless finish.
All of their handmade, super soft brushes are made of the highest quality taklon (an harmless man-made fiber) to give you optimal results when applying mineral makeup.
The quality of the brush you use to apply mineral powders will directly impact the results.

Our favorite ones are the kabuki and blush brushes - essential to the correct application of mineral foundations and blushes.

Five-minute makeover

According to a recent survey the average working mom spends 75 minutes a day preparing meals and devotes a mere 4 minutes to her makeup. The Urban Apothecary Five-Minute Makeover brings your beauty routine up to speed. Now looking gorgeous 24/7 is possible for busy gals who want minimal mirror time.

1: Plump
For waif-like starlets, ‘plump’ is a dirty word. But not when it applies to skin. Quench thirsty skin by applying a moisturizer or primer prior to foundation. Do double duty by using a tinted moisturizer and skip the foundation.

2. Brighten
Apply concealer to the under eye area, inner corner of the eyes, and on any blemishes or discolorations you want to camouflage. Blend well.

3. Pop
Dust blush on the apples of your cheeks and lightly brush up your cheekbones towards your hairline.

Aqua Elements Breathable Gel Foundation

Aqua Elements Breathable Gel FoundationLauren Hutton’s new Breathable Gel Foundation has a light-weight texture that feels like you have nothing on, yet its medium coverage and shimmer-free formula enhances your features instead of masking them.

The Breathable Gel Foundation’s luxurious formula contains a unique blend of “LYCD”, proteins and amino acids that allows your skin to breathe, just like mineral makeup, while reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
It’s available for Pink, Yellow and Olive/Brown skin tones.

Lauren Hutton’s Makeup Revolution starts from the idea that “cosmetic companies do not create makeup for women who have laughed as much as we’ve laughed, cried as much as we’ve cried or seen as much as we’ve seen. The more we experience life the more our face shows our life’s experiences but cosmetic companies do not address our evolution.”
