Jean-Louis Guéret, designer of custom mascara brushes for Lancome, has announced an all-new mascara available next fall, called Oscillation - its brush does, in fact, oscillate.
Oscillate why, you ask? Here’s why: the vibrating brush provides 7,000 vibrations per minute to apply mascara evenly and coat each single lash in a special formula made of ultrafine particles.
Guéret said he got the idea for an oscillating mascara brush while looking at makeup artists. When applying mascara, makeup artists quickly move the brush in an upward, zig-zag pattern - I do, too, as they taught me long time ago, and it really does make a difference! - therefore Guéret wanted to recreate the same vibrating effect with a simple brush.
The result should be extended, curled, shaped and thick lashes, all perfectly coated with Oscillation - all this without an expert makeup artist at hand.
