This holiday makeup collection is sure to become a cult. Shu Uemura partnered with Mika Ninagawa - Japanese photographer and film director - for a limited edition collaboration on marvelous holiday makeup with some uniquely flaired packaging.
“This collection captures a woman’s unlimited possibility for beauty with explosive vivid colors for the eyes, lips and nails.” Mika distinctive products are not what you’d expect from a holiday collection: deep, strong, dramatic colors come in exclusive cosmetic vinyl pouches decorated with colorful Mika Ninagawa’s photographs of flowers.

Nicola Roberts, from the band Girls Aloud, is about to launch a new makeup collection designed especially for pale complexions. Nicola, a beatiful red-head, finds it difficult to shop for makeup because it generally looks too yellow or too dark when applied on pale skin. So she just thought she’s create a new line of makeup to suit her needs! I personally see where this problem comes from, as I have the same difficulties in finding the right shades for my skin, too.
Dainty Doll, that’s the cute name of the line, has been developed by the cult makeup brand Jelly Pong Pong, and will be available April 18th. And just like MAC and Smashbox
called upon artists to illustrate their packaging, Dainty Doll products are graced by the gorgeous artwork by Mari Kubota - a member of Osaka based art project digmeout - making this limited edition collection even more desirable.
