When given the choice, wouldn't you pick natural ingredients that work with your body over synthetic ones?
Burt’s Bees has launched a new natural skincare line that the promises to be as effective as chemical products in addressing acne and blemishes.
It is a common idea among consumers that products need to have (harsh) chemicals in their list of ingrediets in order to tackle problems such as blemishes. Burt’s Bees want to prove them wrong with launching a new natural line of products that can solve such problems, listing only 100% natural ingredients.
The brand new acne range, called Natural Acne Solutions, includes 4 products:
→ Natural Acne Solutions Daily Moisturizing Lotion – $17.99
Lightweight moisture for clear, smooth skin without irritating skin.
→ Natural Acne Solutions Pore Refining Scrub – $9.99
Deep clean pores for smoother, clearer skin, naturally.
→ Natural Acne Solutions Targeted Spot Treatment – $9.99
This natural acne spot treatment is clinically proven to reduce and improve the appearance of blemishes.
→ Natural Acne Solutions Purifying Gel Cleanser – $9.99
Wash your way to clear skin, naturally.
Usually, the main ingredient used in many acne treatments is salicylic acid. Burt’s Bees, however, uses the natural form of salicylic acid, from the willow tree:
salicylic acid is a synthetic ingredient typically used in many moisturizers and acne products. It helps eliminate acne by preventing pores from clogging. However, salicylic acid is found naturally in willowbark extract and is just as effective.
Rather than buy the synthetic alternative, willowbark extract is straight from the natural source. Yes, it costs more and is more difficult to manufacture, but it’s worth it because it’s natural and it works better with your skin.
