Fall collections are pouring in, and they look sooo good we can’t wait to sport some fall make-up on our faces, to replace the current bronzer-chick look.
The cult brand Urban Decay has some sweet treats in store for us, as usual, with an urban-gothic twist to it. The packaging is already an invitation to try them all, put them on, feel the vibe.
Our favorite is the Lipstick Tube (picture on the right): made from weighty, purple metal, each one is pierced with a mini dagger. The clear cap is decorated inside and out with two-toned purple flourishes. The effect is multidimensional, and incredibly luxe. Ooh la la. Moreover, the creamy formula nourishes and protects lips with Vitamins A, C, and E; hyaluronic spheres stimulate cellular function, prevent dehydration, and fill-in lines and wrinkles — and the teardrop-shape bullet, etched with the logo, is infused with a decadent crème caramel scent and flavor.
Other items that will be available in the fall 2008 collection are
3 new shades of the Matte Eye Shadows: Heist (dusty purple) , Electric (electric blue), Shakedown (taupe).
24/7 Concealer pencil in 4 shades; its creamy formula blends easily, then dries down to a smudge-free matte finish.
24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencils in 6 shades: Envious (medium berry), Gash (brick red), Heavy (shimmering nude), Naked (neutral pink), Ozone (clear), Wicked (shimmering light pink).
Grind House multi-functional pencil sharpener; the precision sharpener blade is infused with 1% carbon to prevent rust. Added bonus? Purple flourishes make it the prettiest sharpener.

If you happen to be in the NY City subway, and see a car filled with identical couples, don’t question your eyesight or mental sanity. Rather, enjoy the ride as you are travelling with a live art performance happening right beside you.
Improv Everywhere agents recruit identical twins to create an unusual human mirror inside the car of a subway, thus creating a live form of art for viewers and passagers. No explanations are given, to ensure each and everyone has his or her own version of what happened.
Improv Everywhere is, at its core, about having fun. Charlie Todd, the founder of Improv Everywhere tells us: “Our missions are a fun source of entertainment for the participants, those who happen to see us live, and those who read the website. We get satisfaction from coming up with an awesome idea and making it come to life. In the process we bring excitement to otherwise unexciting locales and give strangers a story they can tell for the rest of their lives. We’re out to prove that a prank doesn’t have to involve humiliation or embarrassment; it can simply be about making someone laugh, smile, or stop to notice the world around them.”
