Women's and Men's trends spring - summer 2010

That’s the way it works in fashion. It’s the first day of Spring 2009, and yet everything is ready for Spring/Summer 2010…

Here are 3 of the trends you’ll see (and wear):
for women, the Castaway and Ethereal Romance are 2 main trends.
The raw and rugged effect is achieved with crinkled, deconstructed fabrics and layers. Exposed undergarments and simple tie closures are some of the details that bring the island-stuck feel.

On the other hand, S/S 2010 is also about lightness and romance. Soft dresses and featherweight tops will have a strong Grecian drape feel. Details like ethereal ruffles, flounces and draping bring define a subtle femininity.

Finally, men will be turned into Amish… this is by far the most unique and innovative trend to come out of NY. Roomy, almost unflattering blazers, long twill coats, quaker hats and noose knot scarves bring a earhtly, anti-mundane feeling. Interesting!

What do guys you think?
