In a continuous effort to become more eco-friendly each day, LoveLula offers the chance to its customers to make a carbon offset donation when they place an order for organic beauty and skincare from their online organic apothecary.

“For a 10p donation, we offset the carbon emissions generated delivering orders with an equivalent contribution to the charity Streetkidz (www.skcv.com).” says LoveLula founder Lula Lewis.
Streetkidz is a fabulous charity that creates homes and new lives for homeless children in India. LoveLula’s carbon offset donations are being used to buy renewable power sources for their new village for girls.

Natalie Portman x TeCasan

Natalie Portman has just launched her footwear line at TeCasan in New York.
What’s peculiar about this shoe collection, is that it’s 100% Vegan, which is rare, and a good thing.
The footwear collection is introduced by such words of wisdom:”As a vegan, it’s been challenging finding designer shoes made of alternative materials. This collection offers a great selection without compromising quality or style.”

Strangely enough, what’s even more peculiar, is that miss Portman herself is not quite a vegan, nor a vegetarian. Yet she seems to be when it comes to finding the right pair of shoes.
Anyhow I like the concept of the vegan footwear, it really is a difficult task finding shoes not made of leather.
Moreover, all of Natalie’s proceeds will be donated to the Nature Conservancy, a non profit that works tirelessly to protect ecologically fragile lands and bodies of water. Well done!

The footwear is available at the TeCasan boutique located at 382 West Broadway, NYC.

Rare Natural CareAfter four years of reasearch, Rare Natural Care introduces RARE2B, a new skincare line that is 100% vegan, organic, vegetal and natural.

There are very few really vegan skincare lines on the market. RARE2B products do not contain any animal by-products and they are not tested on animals. They are also free of potentially harmful ingredients such as parabens, formaldehyde, synthetic chemicals, alcohol, PEG, TEA and petroleum by-products.
Their products instead include special ingredients like seaweed, olive oil and passion fruit seed oil that nurture and nourish the skin.

The product line currently consists of four basic products that are suitable for all skin types: Hydrating Day Cream, Restorative Night Cream, Detox Facial Mask and Body Lotion.
