Modern, hip and foolproof makeup, this is what Myface Cosmetics promise to be. And the name says it all: Myface is aimed at 21st-century, tech-savvy girls.
Divided in 3 categories based on skin tone, the “fair,” “medium” and “medium/dark” products will help creating the perfect makeup with no hassle.
The founder, Gail Federici, has worked with John Frieda for years and knows the needs of modern girls. As a matter of fact, with names like Upload Lashes Mascara and GigaByte Lipstick, they have “used both Web and music-inspired names and references as well as modern packaging simply to reinforce the position that Myface approaches makeup in a completely new way,” said Federici to WWD.
Creative director for Myface is Charlotte Tilbury, a makeup artist whose “keen eye for beauty has landed her gigs with top photographers like Mario Testino and the team of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott; with supermodels like Kate Moss and Gisele Bündchen; with magazines like British and French Vogue; and as the creative director of Helena Rubinstein cosmetics,” as stated in the New York Times.
Well, we can’t wait to see more of Myface, which is going to launch October 8th at Boots (in the UK).
