
Before the tank tops' season, some exercises
As winter comes to its end, all women start thinking about getting into a bathing suit this summer; but before that, there’s another warm weather staple that you need to face first. The tank top.
Think Michelle Obama: her toned arms have become her staple.
Once spring is here, it’s time for you to start thinking about whipping up that upper body into shape. So here are our 3 favorite exercises for you to try at home, when you have 15 minutes of spare time.
1. The Modified Push-up (aka the girl push-up)
The starting position is with knees bent and apart, ankles raised and crossed, hands at shoulder width and body straight.
Then slowly lower your body to the floor while keeping the back straight and abdominal muscles pulled in.
Finally, squeeze chest muscles to push yourself back to the starting position.
Repetitions: 8-10
